Braised and Glazed Brisket Recipe

Ingredients:

3-4 lbs beef brisket Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp olive oil 1 large onion, sliced 4 garlic cloves, minced 2 cups beef broth 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions:

Season brisket with salt and pepper. Sear it in hot olive oil until browned on all sides, then set aside to rest briefly.

In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic until softened and fragrant, scraping up any flavorful browned bits from the bottom.

Stir in beef broth, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and tomato paste, mixing well to create a rich, sweet, and tangy braising liquid.

Return brisket to the pot, cover tightly, and braise in a preheated oven at 160°C (325°F) for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
